- are to treat all patients with respectand equality.
[/ul]nursing staff
- all patients are required to take prescribed medication from their doctors or psychiatrists, at the correct times and dosage force fed if necessary by any means.
- are responsible for the health and well being of patients.
- are responsible for patients actions towards themselves.
[/ul]psychiatric staff / theraputic staff
- have the right to take action towards the patient if they believe the patient will harm themselves.
- all patients are required to attend counselling sessions at the time appointed by their psychiatrist.
- have the right to prescribe medication.
- have the right to dismiss patients from the hospital.
[/ul]warden / security staff
- have the right to use blunt batons against patients for their own safety or the safety of others.
- must patrol corridors constantly and report any wandering patients to the nurse's office.
- are to work in pairs at all times.
- required to work shifts alongside the nurse staff.
- must make sure that no patient is out past lights out, or in any restricted sections.

- all patients have the right to wear ‘street clothes’.
- all patients are not permitted to leave the grounds under any circumstances.
- all patients are not to enter restricted areas of the building for their own personal safety.
- all patients have the right to be treated equally.
- all patients have the right to shelter, food and warmth if they behave.
- all patients have the right to free time.
- all patients are not permitted to bring any belongings once institutionalized, expect for clothing and photographs of family and friends.
- all patients are not permitted to hang anything on the walls.
- all patients have the right to freedom of speech.
- all patients are to be in their rooms by 9:30 pm weeknights, or 11:30 pm saturday only.
