basic information ,
standing at five four, maggie isn't really petite, she's just short. her body is built a bit bulkier, but it only ensures that she isn't some anorexic two inch waist pencil stick. her red hair goes past her shoulders, and it's mostly straight, but it tends to curl at the bottoms. bangs cut across her eyebrows and they aren't always doing what they're supposed to be, and that results in a "not perfect maggie". mags doesn't have a style, she just wears what she thinks other people might like and that includes squeezing herself into tiny things until the safety of not being monitored makes maggie take out her comfy sweats.

comprehensive personality / behaviour maggie doesn't like to talk to people. maggie doesn't like to see people. maggie doesn't like knowing people exist. so she holes herself up in her little corner and doesn't whatever she feels is safe, and god help the poor thing if anyone dared to come near her, mags just might forget how to talk altogether. her paranoia goes as far as thinking that there are "little ghosts" all around her that never go away. as far as she knows, it's not schizophrenia, but somethings marge doesn't know whether to trust herself. the only time that mags feels at ease is when she's smoking, but it's never been anything like an addiction - or so that's how she keeps telling herself. sometimes, going online and chatting with someone makes her feel like a different person. like she doesn't need to be "margaret ellis" all the time and just become a regular resident. maggie also tends to be very insecure, and continually tells herself that she's not worth the trouble, that she should just be locked up and not bothered with. sometimes, maggie makes herself feel safe and gets this demented thing. it's a false sense of security, but knowing that nobody would approach her, she's fine with the subconscious act. when mags doesn't do something correctly, sometimes she inflicts pain on herself, because "perfect people aren't judged. they're just perfect. no one thinks twice about a perfect person, and they never screw up."

background information ,
beatrice owens ( twenty-three - deceased - mother )
family member names
david ellis ( forty-two - bio father )
peter wilson ( thirty - stepfather )
comprehensive history maggie was the accident of the bible-thumpin' owens family, and no matter how wonderful she was as a baby, twenty-one-year-old beatrice quickly sent her off with her father to "make everything better." and not a year later, she married peter wilson, successfully reestablishing her family's love for her. however, beatrice managed to get herself into a fatal car accident in a few months, making her family's happiness short-lived.
margaret never really cared that she lived just with her dad. she liked it being just them and nobody else. maggie always tried to make friends all throughout her school career, but her little ghosts were there and they forbade friendships. maggie also found herself daydreaming about other girls around sixth grade. now, being somewhat of a loner, maggie kept her secret as long as she could. but a little slip happened, and then the whole world knew. her father was the least homophobic person you could've met, but being raised in a small and conservative town would make the nicest woman hate you.
maggie managed to have a relationship (despite it being slightly shallow). her paranoia hadn't become prominent yet, and she was a lot happier then (however, she had social anxiety then; mags was always trying to become perfect). the constant bashings took a toll on her though, and that was when the paranoia began to set in. with everything happening to the young woman at once, mags might have snapped at one point, isolating herself for the longest time. needless to say, her girlfriend promptly left after that.
margaret started smoking to help calm her down, and it worked, but it made david even more worried - as if the stress of an extreme paranoid daughter helped him. mr. stepfather soon entered the scene, as an owens relative was living near marge and her father, and peter always considered mags as his "daughter." she didn't want anything to do with him, but he wanted to cure her of all her illnesses and suggested that she be sent to blue river. and, after feeding lie upon lie to david, mags managed to become a resident of blue river mental asylum.

hi my name is doom and i am thirteen years old. last time i checked, i'm a female. i've been rping for three years? and i love it. i found this site through rpgc and i must say, it's awesome! so anyway, i live in pacific time and i will be on most of the time i currently have this shiny new character and no one else yet. you can contact me through pm or by n/a. i promise you i have read the rules and i will be a dedicated member to the site!it seemed that mags was constantly performing at the same bars over and over again, and a new audience was needed. and so she sought out new bars, as strange as that seems. marge never really did scour the city for places to perform at, but people were hinting at and telling her to. and, being the complete pushover that mags is, she listened to their advice. it didn't seem like it failed the first few times maggie played at strange and new places, and she was steadily gaining more attention. mags the performer was loud, comfortable, and unafraid of anything; she just had to be heard while on the stage, no matter how conceited that may seem. marge just really, really loves her music and wants to share it with the rest of new york.
today went really well, as mags played one of her more elaborate pieces. she spent weeks writing and practicing the hell out of it, and needless to say, marge was pretty proud that she pulled it off without any bumps. and mags took the little bow she always did when finishing a performance, her upper body bending down and coming right back up. her dorky grin filled her face as mags made her way off the stage, electric violin and bow in tow. "oh, wow." mags sat down at an empty bar stool, covering her face with her hands. the heat from the playing the violin seemed to get to her, and a few seconds of rest were desperately needed. a few people came to compliment her, and maggie smiled and said "thank you" in the quietest voice possible. all that comfort seemed to have vanished, and she was the shy margaret her family (and former schoolmates) knew so well. her family wasn't all that supportive of her choice to become a violinist at first, mainly because the pay would be close to nothing and the old "what would the neighbors think?" argument came into play after they found out about her costume making. however, they seemed change their opinion after mags had been on her so-called quest for a few weeks, claiming that they were wrong and how they didn't know how talented she was.
mags was completely caught off guard when she was approached by the stranger. she had been putting her violin in her case, unaware of anything else happening around her, and marge could have sworn that her heart jumped out of her chest when the young man spoke. mags closed the case, and tried to collect herself. "oh, uh. thank you," the violinist managed to say, and her eyes fell upon the beer that the man brought. marge didn't like alcohol, and it was just a safety precaution she took, and she could live without booze. plus, it didn't seem to taste all that good. a slight red tinge seemed to have settled across her cheeks as marge fumbled for a response. "hi ... i'm maggie," she mumbled, hoping that she wasn't too incoherent. countless people ask her to speak up, and it wasn't something that marge enjoyed, really. but, now she was faced with the dilemma of trying to tell somebody as politely as she could that she didn't drink. he spent his money on her! "oh..." mags looked back at the beer, pursing her lips in thought. "um... i... i don't drink," she managed to say after a few stutters. "... i'm so sorry," marge's face got hot and her hands went instantly to cover the blushing skin.
